2 min readUpdated November 1, 2026

The short answer

Both are Breville machines with a built-in grinder and a 2-year warranty, as listed. The Oracle Jet grinds, doses and tamps on its own into a 58 mm portafilter, froths milk hands-free, and lists 45 grind settings and a touchscreen with Cold Brew and Cold Espresso. The Barista Pro is hands-on: you tamp and steam milk yourself with a 54 mm portafilter, it lists a 3-second heat-up, and at 13.1 inches it is much shorter than the Oracle Jet, at 16.7.

Where they differ.
